Network G served the online gaming community by providing tools, tips and newsletters for playing poker online. This was probably one of the most fast paced companies that I have worked with. Websites were required to be designed and deployed within a weeks time, and afterwards they required constant management and content updates.
Along with the websites, numerous marketing campaigns insured that newer customers were directed to the sites and their products. Many banner advertisements and landing pages were created to aid this effort. As the sole designer on these projects, it was my responsibility to create eye-catching and sometimes racy designs in order to capture the attention of users and convert them into customers.
Network G provided many cool projects that offered a lot of creative freedom. I was able to create some really fun designs from rabid squirrels to poker sharks. Many of the designs and artwork created for these sites were done utilizing a variety of software packages, including a lot of 3D Maya Design work.
Aside from design work, I provided support to the developers as a LAMP development resource. On of the main development projects that I worked on for Network G consisted of developing a affiliate program that allowed affiliates to login to the network, view news, account information and retrieve marketing materials for their own use through an AJAX based interface.
